presentation of wines from PODERE FORTE in Moscow

Thus, on 25 November this year in the restaurant "Governor" took a mini-presentation of Tuscan wines by company " poderi FORTE " ( PODERE FORTE ). The presentation was conducted by the head of the house Pasquale Forte along with his young enologist Christian Cattaneo . Was represented by 3 wines, wine all different and all are different (see below). All the action took place in a cozy restaurant "Governor" was prglashennyh a little bit and it allowed me to ask questions (on the characteristics of wines to personal preference lady Forte). And this economy does not produce only first-class wine (produced in accordance with the rules as I loved Biodynamics), but equally, ORGANIC (eskie) nye - olive oil, honey, ham.

general impression : Rich wine dark vischnevogo color. Initially, a small zadushka, but the second nose is rich with cherry and blueberry tones. Mouth: rich, Pts. Tannin. Great potential!

2. Guardiavigna 2006 Toscana igt
Grades : Merlot 33% Cabernet Sauvignon 33% Cabernet Franc 26% Petit Verdot 8%. Alcohol: 15%.
method of cultivation and production : fully biological and biodynamic.
fermentation and aging : French oak barrels - 18 months.
Features consumption : Manufacturer advice before consuming wine stand it at room temperature for 1 day and open for 30 minutes before actually drinking of. Do not decant.
general impression : Wine in Bordeaux style (sorta!) complex with potential. Rot more tannin (the first sample). Great potential!
Ratings : Parker - 96 p. (2006)
Price (in Italian wine cellar): approx. 70 euros.

3. Petrucci 2006 Orcia doc
Grades
: Sangiovese 100%. Alcohol: 14,5%.
method of cultivation and production : fully biological and biodynamic.
fermentation and aging : French barriques - 16 months.
Features consumption : Manufacturer advice before consuming wine stand it at room temperature for 1 day and open for 30 minutes before actually drinking of. Do not decant.
general impression : A complex wine, which has already manifested tertiary notes (coffee). Sophistication and complexity of the recalled good burgundy wine.
Ratings : Parker - 95 p. (2006)
Price (in Italian wine cellar): approx. 70 euros.
