Collection Barolo 2001 in basements Gigi Rosso. Claudio Rosso BARBARESCO opens a bottle of 1990! ! Very interesting flavors - Reminded me of dried mushrooms, dried fruits, and even ... leavened bread is a must!


1. Roero Arneis 2009 docg . Dry white wine from a variety Arneis. Light, fragrant, fresh with notes of honey. Score: 4 points.
2. Dolcetto Diano d'Alba Superiore doc "Vigna Vecchia Del Pinnacolo".
Pronounced cherry aromas, a dense concentration of wine. Reminded me wine varieties NERO DI TROIA of Italian Apulia. Rating: 4.2 points.


3. Barbera d'Alba doc "ROCCA GIOVINO" 2008. Age: 1 year in barriques. In the aroma animals notes, the acidity slightly increased (in general, at Barber ACIDITY higher than other cultivars). Score: 4 points.
4.Barbera d'Alba doc "VIGNA DEL BUON RICORDO" 2008. In the aroma - Cherry, sunflower. Rounded in the mouth, and acid.
Score: 4 points.



5. Nebbiolo d'Alba "ROCCA GIOVINO" doc 2007 . In the aroma is sweet fruit (A bit like Bordeaux). In the mouth, lung, still pretty tannins. Rating: 3.8 points.
6. Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2007. Age: 2 years in barrique. Nose: quite powerful, animal notes, but at the same time and the freshness! Mouth: Vanilla, Cherry.
Rating: 4.2 points.


7. Barolo "ARIONE" 2005 docg Aroma: sunflower, subtle colors (black berries). Rating: 3.9 points (first), then the wine develops to 4 +.
+ Extra. Barbaresco 1990 docg . Put this picture for clarity. It is clearly seen as changing the color of wine, depending of exposure. Vintage wine (right) at 15 years of age or older, so the color is much lighter and brick .
